The Worst Luck

Sigh . . . I'm back on crutches. AGAIN. I was hit by a car in the parking lot of the grocery store last week. I was in a cross walk with a stop sign and the driver did not stop. He claimed not to see me but it turns out he didn't have a license and most likely no insurance. So needless to say I'll be going on hiatus. I hope to be back to blogging and crafting after Thanksgiving. I have a broken foot and feel, well, like I got hit by a car. it's really not too bad and I'm trying to stay positive. Hopefully I'll be able to do some knitting while healing.

Hope you are all safe and well!

hugs ~ Rebecca

That stinks! Are there any consequences for this guy? I got hit by an uninsured driver a few years back. It wasn't his car, or license either. Turns out it was some lady who lived by my school. We were going to pursue things with her, until we learned of her recent conviction for stabbing someone. Then we just dropped it. Last thing I need is some crazy lady with a knife in my life! LOL. I wasn't hurt tho. So sorry that you have to go through this at all, but especially when holiday crafting and thrifting are amping up!

Oh no! That's terrible. I hope your injuries heal quickly. I was sort of hit by a car once. I was in a parking lot and this jackass decided to back out of his parking spot without even looking in his mirror and he whacked right into me! Luckily, it was just a bruise to the kneecap but still!!

So sorry to hear about this...Cory is always telling me to watch where I walk and I always reply with, "Pedestrians have the right of way." Well, that notion doesn't matter if people don't "see" you. Hope you heal quickly. Hugs!!

Becca: We need to STOP this madness! I feel on the ice 2 days ago and am back in a brace and a walker. Unknown the damage and may include my back and ribs. I guess we are supposed to really be there for each other. I hope you are feeling much better!
