Things have been crazy at work this week. Back to back meetings and nothing working when you need it to. I hadn't posted in a while and just wanted to say hi and tell you that all of the emails should be out to the Summer Fun swappers. Lucy worked her little fingers to the bone! She's amazing, isn't she? We'll have a post up soon with all the blog links over at Sweet Goodness Swaps. You can visit my wonderful partner, Dana, here. It's her first swap and I know she'll do great!
So look at what Leigh Ann and I found on Saturday:
Aren't they the cutest? They are from a set of vintage Old Maid cards. Here's a shot of my share:
How much am I lovin' Pretty Kitty and Brown Mouse?? Seriously, just too much cuteness. I think I'll scan each one in so I can share with those interested.
I'll be back tomorrow to share the rest of the goodness from the weekend.

I adore those cards. And I can't wait to get swapping. Thanks for setting it up!
Oh, they are just adorable....happy day when you came across these I'm sure.
A big shout out to you too Rebecca! Did you get my email telling you I've been a'thriftin' for the swap?

OMG! If you scan those, I see iron on transfers in Jack's future.
Ooh, those are so dang cute! I found some old Old Maid cards over the weekend but they were the ones I remember from when I was a kid--not that old and not that cute! Yours, however, are to die for! Great find.
Oh, I am starting to sound like an old person but I totally had those cards as a kid. Memories!
Those cards are adorable! What an awesome find:)
lol..I was just gonna say that I do believe I had those cards, too! So am I vintage qualified??? LOL
I used a couple of your scans in my latest collage, I like the paper you used, it works great with what I'm using :)
I'm not the only one working their fingers to the bones--you did the hard part--organizing the list!! THANK YOU!!
Oh my! I think I remember those cards from my own childhood... they must've been at my grandparents' house. They sure look familiar. Thanks for sharing their cuteness and evoking some happy memories for me.
They are so cute, thanks for sharing!
Me, too. I had them and if only I'd saved them. Those and a hundred million other things!!!
They are so cute!! First thing I thought of was putting them together under a frame...then I though they would be great scanned and then transferred somehow so a person could embroider them on a baby blanket...oh the ideas.
Those are the best cards!!! I definitely remember those same images from when I was a kid so we must have had that exact set. Gosh, that really dates me!
These need to be on Cute Overload, how adorable!
