Anxiety

I've not been much of a blogger this week and I'm here to say I won't be back again until next week with what I hope are slightly stimulating posts. I'm having major anxiety at the moment about not getting things done. I know you have all been there. I just hate it when it's anxiety over things I am supposed to enjoy. It sort of takes the fun out of things.

On a brighter note, I'm taking a mini trip out of the Queens this weekend to visit The Pink Kitchen. I know you are jealous. Katie is going, too. Leigh Ann is taking us to all of her favorite thrifty spots and making reservations at a tea shop! Can you tell I'm excited? So if you are waiting on a package from me, be it Etsy, a swap or anything else, I'll be making a pilgrimage to the Bryant Park P.O. on Monday. :)

And since I hate writing a post with no pictures . . .

Rag rugs are coming . . . you have been warned.

Have a wonderful weekend friends . . .

The cards I made Vallen are unbelievably easy to make. I buy premade cardstock folded cards with envelopes, adhere patterned paper to the front, print images out from my computer, ink the edges, mat them and adhere them. Easy peasy!

Don't be anxious! It'll get done when it gets done!

In the meantime, have a great time with Katie and Leigh Ann. Can't wait to see what treasures you find.

AHhh, I can't wait either. I'm so excited, and I can drink tea yay. I hope you are feeling slightly less anxious. We'll have a great day out. Everything ends up getting done eventually right ?? At least that is what I tell myself haha.

Don't worry about us, have a good weekend and take a breather with the projects- you'll get them done :)

Enjoy your fun time with the girls! The projects will all be there when you return! (Sometimes I wish they would disappear, but nope, they just wait patiently!!)

Have a great time! I think we are facing the enjoyable task of cleaning up the porch and backyard and then mattress shopping. Ugh!

Teach me how to crochet so I can make a rag rug!

Relax & enjoy your girls day out! Everything will still be there tomorrow & the there is no sense in stressing over it. If you stress then it's no fun & isn't that the whole point? Have a wonderful time!

Your projects will all get done... and not getting them done all at once only means they'll be better anyway. Don't you often find that when things happen later rather than sooner, more ideas get added to the mix.

But anxiety is bad -- so it's nice that you have a little field trip planned!

Can't wait to see your rag rug!!! The fabric you have in your fabric strip balls looks like it will be perfect for summer and spring. Woohooo!
